Awful, don’t do it
Awful. At check in, the receptionist told me that the restaurant by my room “sometimes plays music” and if was too loud to let her know and we could change rooms. I was dead, I had driven my 3 small kids 10 hours, I wasn’t going to change rooms after we were in. I asked why we couldn’t just go to a different room, the ones with 4 beds that I booked were all by the restaurant. “Sometimes plays music” sounds like we might hear a little bass or something, I stayed so we could all have a bed. Well, this plays turns into a club and it sounded like we were in the club. Everyone was screaming, the whole building is shaking. It was insane. I was awake until 1:50 when it stopped.
The next morning I went to change rooms. I was moved to a smaller 2 bed room in the middle of the hotel and refunded my $12 resort fee. After a 10 hour drive and zero sleep this was all ridiculous
You can still hear the music in the middle of the hotel, it it’s more of the bass I had been expecting and we could deal with it.
This place is also disgusting. Both rooms were covered in sand, there was a cockroach in the first room. And the bathrooms are gross. In the first room my son spilled his water on the table when we first walked in, I cleaned it with a white hotel towel. It made the towel black.
I went out on a limb with this hotel because I could book 4 beds. I will never mind sharing a bed with my kids after this no experience.
