Clean room but no turndown and forgot to do cleaning on Day 2. Cleaning staff had left so a staff member did a half baked job. No shops or cafes close by. The lady at check out was rude and kept trying to charge us for ordering breakfast off the menu - the one staff member who was hostile both times we interacted with her. Overall average hotel experience.

The Palazzo Balsamo is a new hotel and elegantly appointed. Our room was spacious and beautiful. The breakfast and dining area were quite pleasant. I cannot say enough about the friendliness and kindness of the staff, who were quite helpful. We wish we had extended our stay longer.

My husband and I had an amazing time. The location was ideal. Very close to shopping and restaurants but very quiet. Everyone there was so nice and helpful and the breakfast was perfect for a day of roaming around. We will stay here every time we visit Palermo

Absolutely wonderful, beautiful boutique hotel in the historic center of Palermo! The rooms are so lovely and comfortable and the staff of this delightful hotel are absolutely the best! Davide, the manager, Aleyshq, Francesca, Giuliana and the rest of the staff are so accommodating, thoughtful, professional and friendly. Truly gifts, all of them! Great breakfast as well! Simply one of the best small boutique hotels I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world!! 5+ stars!!
