Great location, did the job

A one night stay and all we really needed was a bed for the night. We didn't eat at the hotel or use the bar area but it looked pleasant and I think had views over the park next to the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, being right on the seafront, and our room on the 2nd floor had nice views out towards the harbour. The room was a good size and was clean. The only minor thing was that the shower lacked any water pressure and was more just a dribble, but it was usable. The hotel generally is an older building rather than a modern purpose built hotel. There seemed to be lots of stairs and corridors! Overall, however, this was a good stay and for the price it was good value.

Amazing for the price we paid, didn’t have any dinners, but they were offered to us and we could clearly see the entertainment and times that it was starting, when we were there. We did have the breakfast (£20 for X2 regular full English and X2 juices and a big pot of tea) which was really nice and friendly service. Overall the staff were 10/10 very helpful and informative. The room had a beautiful sea view, and was clean and room service if wanted.

Lovely hotel clean and staff very friendly..... especially the girl behind the bar that evening... only negative was the misrable entertainer that evening.... perhaps he should have a drink before going on stage.... otherwise really good stay.... will definitely stay again

Excellent check in we felt we were valued customers even though it was only for one night. Staff around the hotel very helpful, polite and welcoming. Pleased we could sit in the comfortable conservatory bar after a long drive which had a lovely view of the Paignton sea front
