We had a wonderful time visiting Paducah, thanks in part to our comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean room. The B&B was in easy walking distance to the National Quilt Museum. We opted for breakfast vouchers for the Gold Rush restaurant and it was incredible.

Really nice staff, allowed for early check-in when traveling with a 1-year old. Close to downtown galleries etc., but only on-street parking available (expected) and our car was covered in sap in the morning (unexpected). The real deal-breaker for me was the bed in the room we stayed in. It literally was so high it had a step-stool but not only that it was a level of firm that to me was painful to sleep on (and the lack of any give made me more concerned I would roll off the extremely high bed). My husband said it was hard but okay, I found it literally unsleepable and added a blanket to the couch and slept there.

Coming in to Paduka by small! sailboat after six days on the Mississippi and Ohio rivers, the Respite was true to its name. Deserves a 11 out of 10.

Paducah gem

Lovely B&B ideally situated near downtown Paducah. Very close to the National Quilt Museum and the sewing needle sculpture. Key code entry. Breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed chatting with the hostess Andrea and other guests at the communal table. Room was very clean and comfortable, and enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony for my morning coffee. Hope to stay here again the next time I visit Paducah.

Wonderful place to stay in Paducah

The Respite B &B is located in a beautiful part of town near historical downtown. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We used breakfast vouchers and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at The Gold Rush Cafe.

My wife and I celebrated a 49th anniversary there we was very very pleased with the cleanliness the quietness. The overall experience was wonderful. We would recommend this to anybody.

We loved the Respite Bed and Breakfast. It was charming but up to date. It is beautifully decorated and has all the modern conveniences. We loved that it has a self check in. Our host let us know that our room was ready early and we appreciated that. Our reservation through Expedia included either breakfast at the Respite or a voucher for a restaurant in the town. We chose the breakfast in the Respite and we're so glad we did. The food was delicious we so enjoyed meeting our host and the other guests. The Respite is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. And Paducah is a very friendly town! We will definitely go back.

My New Favorite Inn

The Respite B&B is absolutely gorgeous. This may be the most comfortable, clean, roomy, and beautiful room we’ve ever stayed in. The owner/operators have created an elegant yet inviting inn. Breakfast was freshly cooked and yummy, and Shelly was generous with her time and info about the Inn and the town. Stay here in Paducah, you won’t be sorry!
