We stayed in the deluxe cottage and it was absolutely gorgeous! It far exceeded my expectations! The screened in porch was probably my favorite part. Resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be staying again very soon!

The inside was very nice and clean but the outside had not been taken care of at all the deck looked unsafe to be on it was filthy nasty dirty such a waste to have it and the grass around had not been mowed and kept up at all I wouldn’t want my grandson out playing in it at all so do better on that part

Absolutely beautiful setting and property. The key card to our room was hard to work at times. But the friendly staff was helpful in getting the keys redone after they b failed twice. And they were not near a cell phone. We will stay here in the future!

State run facility. It is old hence the good vs great on the actual room. All issues except the very low flush toilet😌 were remedied by staff upon our request: tub w/o stopper; no TV signal; no soap. Lovely pool and main hall facilities!!! Beautiful lake—great access to beach, boat launch, biking or waking trails. Way better than a hotel along the highway enroute home❣️

Fun and nice overall however we had a big puddle of water leaking from AC and they told us tanks for letting us know when we called.. we had to just keep putting towels down to make sure no one slipped but overall kids had fun and the fishing was great… the food at lodge was good but VERY expensive.. 2 adults 4 kids and our buffet was 160$ I was not expecting that.

I really tried to give it a chance. I visit this area 2-4 times per year and always stay in a hotel. I kept an eye on the reviews and they have been getting better over the years. The front desk lady could not have been more nice! When I walked in to my room, I immediately got a bad feeling about the room just because of the look and smell of the room - it just felt extremely old. Then I looked on the bed and there was a large dead bug (a mayfly maybe?) on the pillow. There were bugs nesting in the corner of the ceiling and above the vanity light over the sink. After I tried to sit on the mattress (which did not appear to be purchased in the 21st century), I realized that there was no way I could sleep in this room. SI booked another hotel that night, packed up, and left.
