Boutique hotel with sass and style!

Pros: Loved the arty vibe, and attention to detail. And the very comfortable bed.
Cons: I'd like to see a little more creativity with the dinner menu.
The hotel offers very nice, comfortable rooms that provide a venue for local artists to display their artwork- which is a fabulous idea. The room was quiet, and tea/coffee making facilities appreciated. The pub downstairs is self-described as a gastro pub. The food, I found, was good, but not as interesting as I would have expected from a 'foodie' venue. The breakfasts were also very good, and the vivacious hostess at breakfast was lovely. The rear courtyard was a lovely spot late afternoon, weather permitting. It was possible to walk into the city centre - taking about 30 minutes or so. We discovered Cuckoo Lane - a 'secret' laneway that took us almost the whole way there.
