Black Bear Manor was an excellent choice for our short getaway. We could only stay for one day, but we would have loved to base camp from this place for several days. It is conveniently located near everything in Ouray, as well as all the wonderful outdoor activities. When you come, please don't miss Box Canyon Falls, a city park located within minutes of Black Bear Manor.

The room was very comfortable. I’d soggiest to tenants to just open the window at night for the best nights sleep. We forgot about lovely mountain cool evenings air and left the portable AC unit running at night! Breakfast was more than bounteous and filling. All freshly cooked and nutritious. Beach towels were provided for us to take to the hot springs which were appreciated. The hot springs charges $10/towel! Proprietor was very welcoming and helpful.
