Amazing sleep. Ama,ing town. Amazing employees. Clean and the pizza take out to eat in the courtyard was great . We went 30 minutes out of our 17hr trip and when we do it again we will look forward to take the extra srive to stay in orofino at this hotel. Great job everyone!!!

A quaint choice!

Check in gal was so friendly and helpful. A very old hotel that has been updated well ... large room, great bed, complete kitchen. Loved the old elevator with the closing gate!

Trip to visit family.

The Helgeson is a great little hotel in Orofino. We had a 1 bedroom suite. It was very roomy. The staff is excellent. The elevator is quirky. We enjoyed the back patio. The hotel is very convenient to restaurants, bars, stores, and such. Go to House of Juju. It's fantastic.

I'd stay here again for sure.

Great staff. The breakfast was fresh, hot, and hit the spot. The courtyard in back has a great feel with big trees and nice furniture. Location on the main drag could bother some people. Logging is the industry in town and the trucks never stop.

My room was clean, had a modern bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. My only problem with my stay was that the baseboard heating creaked and popped very loudly my whole stay and kept me awake that night.

Not sure how people give this place 5 stars. The room is large but dated. The windows are like single pane and you can hear all the street noise. Logging trucks at 4am followed by everyone going to work in their loud cars and trucks spring 5am. The hotel didn’t provide breakfast until 7:30am so we never had a chance to try it since we were heading out fishing early. We did walk across the street to the cafe which had a great breakfast, reminded me when I was a kid going to the local old timer restaurant in our home town. I wish we could have liked it better but the noise was ridiculous. Do not stay in rooms 201-205. They call face the main road so the noise will be the worst.
