Good family house southwest of Orlando
Very clean, relatively new house. Good A/C throughout house, large living room, kitchen and dining area, with outdoor patio, plenty of seating. Pool is clean, and in the community club center (1 min drive) you get great free access to good waterslides, play area and pool. Host is responsive and helpful, we had an internet issue and he came by and fixed promptly.Only 3 negatives:1. The house is in Davenport, so given the traffic, everything is 40 to 60 mins away, incl the Disney parks and outlet malls.2. There are zero "extras" in the house - e.g., we had to buy salt, oil, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, garbage bags, shampoo and soap. The house is large with 6BR and we were a group of 10. For a weeklong rental, there were only 2 dishwasher soaps, 12 towels (no separate pool towels), a few tiny shampoo/conditioner/soaps, a single roll of cheap 1-ply toilet paper per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, and 1 dishrag and no dish towels. It would go a very long way to improve the guest experience if the host would invest a bit in having more essentials in the home so that the guests don't have to go buy things, which is time consuming and a negative experience (I'd be totally fine if the price were 25 to 50 higher for the week to accommodate the cost of this). Strongly suggest having the cooking basics of oil, salt, pepper, and stock the house with garbage bags, napkins, dish towels, dishwasher soap, etc.3. Tap water is heavily chlorinated, tastes bad.
