When i arrived the hotel seemed nice enough, it was much less impressive than its photos though. When I arrived to the room, it was a bit smaller than expected. One of the beds was pressed up against the wall and the air conditioner which was extremely loud and rattling. The entire room smelled strongly of mildew. The staff was very responsive and was able to move me to another room. In the new room the air-conditioner seemed to be working properly and was quiet, so I thought I'd be all right. As the night progressed though I began feeling ill. I had a lot of congestion, started coughing, and drinking water or taking cough drops did nothing to alleviate my discomfort. My condition continued to worsen so I finally I went to the front desk and asked to speak with a manager. The night security guard was extremely helpful, realizing it was almost 4a she told me that it was most likely that the manager would be asleep, but would be able to help me in a few hours. I was having so much trouble breathing I felt like it would be better to go to the emergency room rather than continue to stay in a that hotel. After leaving the hotel and being in the fresh night air, my cough subsided immediately. I had a residual sore throat the next day, but finally felt better after about 24 hours of being out and about and sleeping in a new hotel.
