Horrible ait and switch
• Stain in the garage/playroom upon arrival
• Basketball game damaged and held together with duct tape
• Foosball table broken
• Pool – the primary reason we booked – was unusable, heater “broken”
• Garbage disposal not working (only item addressed after property manager visit)
• Lack of communication on repairs, including pool heater, replacement of Rusty pool furniture, broken rope lights and sorely needed pool patiopressure cleaning
• No updates provided on issue resolution or timelines
• Pillow appeared to have blood stains and was not replaced
• listing included a family room photo which was not of this unit. It showed a bigger one with more windows, which is not what this stay included.
Overall, the home was in noticeable disrepair and appeared to need a deep clean for quite some time.
We spent more time dealing with issues than enjoying the stay. Communication was poor, and aside from the garbage disposal, problems were not meaningfully addressed.
This was not an enjoyable experience and did not meet expectations. I have been awaiting to hear about the partial refund status since I had requested it mid trip. The annoying thing is once you are already staying there, you’re going to be on the hook for booking fees, even if you decide to switch accommodations elsewhere – which is exceptionally hard during a time like spring break when people are booking these things weeks in advance.
