Just okay, prepare to hike.

We were taken to our room at the top of a hill on a golf cart . Ita a steep driveway so not for anyone physically challenged in anyway. Asked for twin beds, they had to adjust the beds after arrival. Door handle broke off on day of arrival maintence had to come. Water pressure was messed up one day and completel6 stopped while in the shower. Apparently city was working on it. Room was spacious . Separate toilet room was nice. Large balcony. Even though the hill was inconvenient it may make for a better view compared to the lower rooms. Finding the beach was sometimes challenging. Also be prepared to carry large keys. Breakfast was decent. Overall location was good. 5 to 15 min walk to restaursnts and beach clubs.

The staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean and well kept. The doors to the balcony had no handles in the outside so when you were out there it was impossible to close the doors. This led to insects getting in. My husband was all chewed up and uncomfortable most of the time. We also were disappointed that the pool bar was not open during the day and didn’t open until 6 pm. I will say the food at the restaurant was amazing!

We very much enjoyed our stay at La Plantation. Our unit was clean and comfortable with spectacular views. The staff were friendly and helpful, the property well kept. Beautiful Orient Beach, as well as the village stores and restaurants are walking distance, but would be a bit of a hike for some, however, a short car ride for them. We enjoyed the morning breakfast each day. We have stayed here before, not been back to SXM since Hurricane Irma in 2017. We are happy to say the Island is great as always, La Plantation has never disappointed, we would gladly visit again.

The suites are individual self contained ground floor apartments built in the style of plantation houses. Very pretty and spacious with quite well equipped kitchenettes. Lovely pool area with bar.

Every person was kind and helpful. From check-in to check out every meal, drink and encounter with staff was a pleasure. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It could probably survive on the setting alone, but the staff goes above and beyond every day. I give it all the stars.

The view was incredible! Front desk staff were attentive and made the check-in speedy as we had a crying baby. Bar staff were fun and the pool was just lovely! Great location - close to the beach yet felt tranquil in the hill!

I spent 4 nights property check in was smooth be aware they only take visa or Mastercard no American Express or Discover accepted , you get free chair and umbrellas if you go one of their restaurants by the beach however that day wind was strong but everything went good orient bay beach not the best one went to grand case anse Marcel very calm waters over there , also another thing of relevance front desk closes at 8 pm only watchman there from 8 pm til 8 am, realized my phone not charging despite I brought my adapter but front desk was nice and borrowed me one , the cleaning is good room always was cleaned when I came back every evening however there’s lots of mosquitoes and gnats also so ants and at night time I saw little roaches in bathroom and the last day I saw middle sized brown roach I think because rooms are on ground floor and lots of vegetation so bring your mosquito repellent to not get bitten but they were nice and put some flying insect repellent in room also there is a mosquito net in the bed also my room came with nice patio and sun beds which really nice they have lots of nice flowers and shrubs in property however they need more care , every day got breakfast they were very nice since I can’t eat pineapple and prepared me a bowl full of mangoes that was nice from then , the only thing is the same breakfast every day eggs bacon ham/cheese yogurt breads and fruit sauce topping overall decent breakfast , nice pool overall can said good
