Heaven on Earth! Thank you to an incredible staff that really made my week at Anse Marcel PICTURE PERFECT. The resort is stunning, the private beach in the cove is clean, calm enough for hours of swimming and soaking in the sun, the beach staff is amazing, breakfast and lunch are wonderful by the beach and the onsite Dinner restaurant is delish, exotic and chic. 5-stars!!! I plan on being back. Merci!!!

This resort is a gem . The beach is a dream - paradise , flat water with a mountain on each side - like a cul de sac , gorgeous . The restaurant on site has amazing chefs , although the waiters are hot/cold . The le gourmet evening restaurant has superb food and ambiance . Overall, will come back !!!

I like the quiet/reserved feel of the property...The BEACH is GREAT! (clean & not too wavy) and very SAFE. The onsite Restaurant is VERY delicious and well prepared. It can use a bit more Lighting and Directions around the property and directions but after about 2 days ...it is OK. It is not in a busy area ..for restaurants and shopping but easy to get to GRANDE CASE (15min drive) and others. Staff was VERY helpful resto & directionds etc...I plan to go back there SOON!!

The Anse Marcel beach is a great quieter option in St. Martin. There is a nice beach bar restaurant with a very good on sight dinner option. The property itself is a bit "off the beach" with only a few of the buildings offering views of the water. There is a small walk to the beach. The room was nice and clean but getting appropriate items such as soap and tissue refills and proper glassware for the kitchen were minor inconveniences. The property felt like owned condos with a property management group facilitating the work of the guests. If party is what you want go to Grand Case or Orient Beach. Aside from the adventurous drive to Ansel, it is very easy access to Grand Case, Orient and Friar's for easy day trips and dinners. All in all I'd go back.

Beach was steps away and beautiful. Staff very friendly. Great dining options. Stayed in Room 709, it was dated and poorly designed. No chest or drawers to unpack your clothes into. Single straight backed chair and narrow wooden table. No couch or chairs to relax into. Faced the ocean but being on the first floor any view was blocked by shrubs. Again staff, dining options and beach were great, room itself suitable for sleeping and little else.

Clean room, beautiful (and quiet) beach. I would stay here just for that. Decent breakfast available for purchase. Lunch was crazy expensive ($12 for fries?!!) Crazy “rules” for beach chairs- included in your stay, but if you don’t reserve, you will likely be told there is no where for you to sit. Also seem to have favorites that are catered to. Was asked maybe 1x day if anything was needed when on beach. Staff was hot/cold. Very uptight and rude when “busy”. Le Gourmet was very good and nice atmosphere. Nothing else available as grab’n go-no snack bar, no coffee bar, no ice cream, no nighttime activity of any sort. This resort is “out of the way”- meaning you need to drive a windy road- no busy shopping, restaurants, entertainment. 10-15 min drive to find.

Just want to warn everyone... I was staying at this hotel in January… During my stay I was robbed… All I know I is that my jewelry box was in the bathroom, and I took out a piece of jewelry to try on and placed it on the counter. I decided to step out to the main room for a second to grab a different necklace. At this moment a cleaning lady stepped into the bathroom and walked out right after as I was returning to the bathroom. I returned to the bathroom to try on different chain and noticed that my two van clef necklace that were sitting on the bathroom countertop were missing. The only person who was in the bathroom beside me was the cleaning lady. I tired speaking with the hotel manager yet there was little help offered with no real solution! I would not recommend this place! Please stay away from this hotel!!

Very nice room with view, on a corner, comfortably furnished. Loved sitting on the patio for morning coffee for a few hours! Very comfortable bed, slept well with sleep masks. Some of digital readouts like temperature are bright. There are many amenities within walking distance. A map would be nice when first getting in to find your way around. All I all a very nice experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Staff is wonderful. The buildings are still under reconstruction from the hurricane. Beach is safe wide clean uncrowded. Only negatives are the hill to drive into Anse Marcel& limited dining options other than the 2 resort restaurants(which are excellent) and the 2 next door at the Marina. We went to dinner at Gran Case many nights. Convenient to grocery shopping at the Super U nearby.

Beautiful bay and well situated property- close to the marina and some shopping. Our room was nice and the beach was beautiful. I would definitely stay there again. There is construction everywhere on this side of the island due to the last hurricane and they are updating the hotel rooms.

Amazing beach! Some lite seaweed on the land, but the water is perfect. Food is delicious! Staff was accommodating. Some hotel’s room under construction and property of the living quarters does need some maintenance. Overall experience is Fantastic!

On our first night, there was sand in between our bed sheets! That was the most disappointing part. It was utterly unacceptable considering the hefty price of our stay. A mere apology doesn’t cut it. The breakfast and lunch at the beach restaurant were worth it if you bypass the waitresses’ attitudes of grandiosity. The people attending the lounge chairs were very kind. The people attending the beach beds lacked customer service, especially the French blonde girl, she was unprofessional and lousy. Make sure you book a beach spot on a chair or bed in advance! Our sea view was not like in the picture posted, nor the beach bed. Everything else was good. On our second night our bed was actually clean - finally! It’s a shame to have had to complain about sand in out bed - yuck! Customer service is not their strong suit.

Loved the location, and staff. We had a great time at Le Domaine Ance Marcel. The room was always well cleaned. Virgil, one of the resort managers, was very professional and friendly, he greeted us, gave us a tour of the resort, and gave us all the information we needed to feel comfortable. We will definitely be back.
