Silver Sands was a nice motel right on the beach. We picked this motel specifically for the proximity to the beach and it did not disappoint!! We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the sound of the sea all night.

This motel is next to the beach so that's the big plus and it's also close to restaurants and stores. Everything else is substandard. It is old, run down, and has uncomfortable mattresses. Our shower dripped the whole time.

The room was dated but clean and comfortable. The electrical outlet for the coffee maker was out of service. I had to move it to one that did work. It was nice to have a room that we could walk right to the beach.

Toilet was leaking when we arrived, but after lifting the flapper and letting it drop properly, no further issues with it. Two plastic chairs were not very comfortable. Bed was ok.

They Hotel was very old and outdated. Anytime the main picture is a picture of the beach and not a picture of the motel that should have been my first clue.

Me and my wife had an amazing time in Rockaway. The Silver Sand was a great place to stay. We will stay there again for sure.
This was taken right out the back door of our room the night we got there.

Kelly at the front desk was efficient, accommodating, and kind. My room was exactly what I had requested and needed. There are not many amenities, but I had what I wanted for this trip to the beach which was a quite retreat with a great view and easy beach access. This old quaint hotel exceeded those expectations.
