Great little place and very good value for the price. The check-in staff were lovely, and it had everything we needed, including a TV and tea, coffee, and free milk. The views are stunning, and it’s a perfect stopover between Aoraki and Queenstown. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Ahuriri Motels. We just stayed one night here on our travels around NZ. Check in and out was easy. The room was cosy and easy to heat, which was good as it had been very cool that day. A nice touch was the fresh milk that was provided when you arrived.

This place is great for a couple of nights if you’re visiting the nearby attractions such as Aoraki/Mt Cook. The facility is older and maybe due for a renovation. However, it still offers a good value. You can park the car right infront of your room. They gave us fresh milk to have with coffee, which was a nice touch! Restaurant options are not great in that small community. Overall, it was a good night stay for us after hiking in the Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park.

Ahuriri Motels vastly exceeded by expectations. Great property with an interesting story. The cabin was much nice and larger than the photos already suggested. I could move in! Very comfortable and a great location. Loved the stay.
