This hotel was the cheapest near the Heart Hospital so I tried it out for a day to save money. You get what you pay for. The Expedia rating do 8.2 is a little high in my opinion. The rooms are huge, but furniture is minimal and worn out. It was a little disappointing, it provided a decent place to sleep and shower which is all I really needed. I decided to pay a little more and stay somewhere else the rest of my week.

At 5:00 am I was woken up by something crawling in my hair. I brushed my hair thinking it may have been an insect. A couple minutes later I had the same feeling and again brushed through my hair (what little I have) with my hand. Then I got up and turned on the light and there was a cricket on my pillow. I tossed it in the toilet but by that time I was WIDE awake and had trouble getting any more sleep. Plus, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and had visible divots on either side of the mattress. The breakfast was good, but the coffee was not hot. I mentioned these things to the desk clerk when I checked out but was not offered any compensation for the poor condition of the room and the insect problem. Needless to say, I will not stay at a Country Inn again.

Solid 4 stars at the price.

The front desk staff were nice and efficient. The rooms were very large and open. There were only a few outdated pieces of furniture in the room. Nothing with a usb port to charge, my end table drawer wouldn’t stay closed and the towels were entirely too thin and worn. I absolutely hate when I get to a hotel and they basically force me to watch cable tv because they banned all other smart options. If you bring your own device to watch make sure you have the remote for the device or a universal remote, because the remote they have only works for the cable box. I was pleased with the breakfast, nothing necessarily special about it other than the gravy, sausage, eggs, tasted pretty darn good for a hotel breakfast.

We were on the top floor where it was quiet for the first two nights. Then we returned 6 days later for 1 night stay before catching a flight to California. It was a very nice stay and will stay with you again when we return to Oklahoma in the coming year.
