Room was nice amazing views on the rop floor. Room was clean and spacious. Whilst the security was ok i would mind if the safe was free. You have to pay a 10 euro deposit for the key. I understand the reason behind this. However, in this day and age noone normslly needs to pay extra for thay security. Breakfast was ok, it filled you up but there isnt alot of variety espeically in the healthy side. Other than that for the price i paid it was a nice stay and the staff were very friendly.

We didn't stay for Breakfast but the staff were very helpful. With a surprising situation we had with the faro taxi service not being relyable in faro.If it wasn't for a hotel service taxi they have we would had missed our flight. If you have a very early morning flight back like we did (6:05am) You won't get a taxi to the airport they have a big problem with not enough taxi drivers. Overall the hotel was very clean and good area not far from the airport 10 minute drive.Thankyou so much for the staff at the reception desk for being a big help for us.I recommend this hotel very good.

Great staff. Clean rooms. Old so walls thin and can hear people in rooms beside. Limited parking in back but it’s small and tight and hard to access. Limited parking on streets. Only 5-10 minute walk to stores and restaurant. Safe neighborhood despite its looks

Excellent staff

Staff were excellent. As a solo female traveller (on my first ever trip), they made me feel very welcome and safe. They offered ideas of places to see, recommendations of places to eat and were a pleasure to talk to. Rooms were clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance of the harbour.

We stayed one night at Best Western Hotel Dom Bernardo during a 24-hour stopover in Faro while travelling from Seville to Lisbon by bus and train. The hotel was exactly as advertised – clean, comfortable, and very budget-friendly. There’s a small bar and restaurant on site serving an adequate breakfast, which was convenient before heading out. The hotel is a little out of the main tourist centre, so it’s not the best choice if you want to be right in the middle of the action (and the walk could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues). That said, it was only about a 15-minute walk to both the bus and train stations, which made it very practical for our journey. We also had time to take a short morning ferry over to Ilha do Farol, which was a real treat – a beautiful beach escape so close to the city. Overall, this hotel is a solid choice for a stopover or a budget-friendly stay in Faro.

Fast check in. Very polite and professional lady on reception, who spoke perfect English, and helped me with my Portuguese. The room was nice and surprisingly quiet. And the air conditioning unit was super efficient. The rooms and hotel are kept super clean. A previous customer's milkshake had been left in the fridge, but you only had to look how clean everything was, to realise that was a slight oversight. Tea/coffee in room, fridge, very good shower. I was a lone traveller and they looked after my bags for me whilst waiting for a friend to arrive on another flight. And i watched a film in the lobby and used the bar. Bar prices were very reasonable. Irish bar and other local bars/restaurant are a short walk away. Would happily stay there again.

Best Hotel

Amazing location, very close to city centre without feeling being in the centre. Lovely staff, comfy beds and very clean rooms. If you like being tucked away from the buzzing centre but still walkable to everywhere, should definitely stay here.
