stayed here for one night with my family while in town for a family reunion. We weren’t expecting luxury, and while the beds were uncomfortable, we could’ve overlooked that for a short stay. However, the main issue — and one that genuinely concerns me — was the bathroom sink in our room. The water lines were reversed: the cold tap was scalding hot, and the hot tap was cold. I turned on the tap to wash my hands and ended up severely burning myself. My hand turned red and puffy. I immediately reported this to the front desk, and while the staff said they would notify maintenance, there was no urgency or first-aid support offered. When I returned later and asked for burn ointment, they checked but didn’t have any available. This is a serious safety hazard. I truly hope they fix it before someone else — especially a child — gets hurt. Because of this incident and the lack of proper response, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning in the future.

Dont stay here unless you have pets.

It's very basic and cheap, but it's the only option for pets. It's pretty run-down, but the cleaning people do a great job. There was a fridge, so that was nice. The bathrooms and rooms are very old but somewhat maintained, so okay overall. Beds are hard, and the a/c doesn't work well. Terrible water pressure in the shower. Would I stay here again? No. Did I feel safe? Yes. Was I ever grossed out by anything? No. Overall its a 4/10.

Just came back from my first Oceanside weekend at this hotel, we typically stay at another but this year was out of my price range. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were and clean too. It came with microwave, refrigerator, freezer, extra sink….the beds were quite comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and price was very reasonable.

Nice Hotel. Beware Possible Surprise Deposit

Nice hotel. Quiet. Clean. Easy parking. Was surprised when we were told at check-in that because we were staying 3 nights there would be $200.00 CASH deposit refundable at checkout if all was good. No information was given to us ahead of time. ATM in lobby did not work. Had to go to bank. This should be stated in hotel description or in communication before arriving. Money was refunded upon checkout. Started stay off on wrong foot but, in the end, enjoyed the hotel and no problems.

Easy to get to. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Fair pricing. The kitchenette was convenient. However, our front door would often stick when trying to open it. Inside the room, there were several obvious points of damage on the bathroom door and in the bathroom. The tv glitched out a couple times. The microwave was butted up against the refrigerator making it impossible to open the door all the way without it digging into the side of the refrigerator. The carpet seemed old and I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it without shoes or slippers. Also to note, I could hear everything outside my room in the hallway. Housekeeping starts around 9 am and will tap on every door that does not display a Do Not Disturb sign (it was frustrating to be woken up by the noise).

Check in went quickly. The lady was very polite. Our room was very clean but had obviously experienced some water damage on the ceiling. The paint was peeling but not a big deal for us. The top of the tv had some weird going on, didnt obstruct the view so again, not a big deal for us. The air conditioning worked well. It did turn off in the middle of the night but it cooled the room quickly oncw it was back on. The bed was one of the top 3 worst beds that i have ever slept on. My husband and i both woke up with considerable back pain. Our friends that also stayed her had the same complaints so its not an isolated incident. Three separate rooms had the same hard beds. There is no area to hang out outside. We asked if there was so.ewhere we could all hang out and the parking lot was the bedt option. We were looking to hang out somewhere we would not disturb other guests. 10 people tend to get a bit loud but we wound up cramming into one room and hopefully didnt disturb too many guests. We didnt get any complaints but we also made sure to wrap it up shorly after 10. If you are looking to be within reasonable walking distance to the beach, and are young enough to not have body pain issues from hard sleeping surfaces, its not too bad.
