sorry - this place is not it - dont want to be too negative on here but nothing was good about this except the proximity to the beach and you are in an adorable town - i feel the hotel lacks in care for the facility bc the town speaks for itself.

Bernadette was a very friendly, gracious and accommodating host, the breakfast buffet was always fresh with personalized options at times. Her delicious homemade cookies were set out in the afternoon. The location is fantastic, four houses in from the beach and a few minutes walk down the main avenue to shops and restaurants.

This is a VERY CLEAN, COZY PLACE TO STAY. Pictures are exactly what it looks like. Steps from the Ocean and boardwalk,plenty of free parking. breakfast was cooked to order with many options & plentiful . The house manager Bernadette is the warmest, kind person she really goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and even offers a snack for the ride home . thank you for a wonderful stay! Will be back one day

It wasn't terribly hot, so the window unit air conditioning was sufficient. Parking could be an issue during busy beach days. Not recommended for seniors, as you have to take your luggage up 1 to 3 flights of fairly steep, narrow stairs! Nice continental breakfast and Burnedette was very helpful and informative.

The caretaker Bernadette was extremely kind and helped us with everything we needed and personally cooked our meals. Super clean and safe area highly recommend. Even the beach was super clean and safe to walk.

Bernadette, the inn keeper was very welcoming and informstive. As many of these beachside hotels are historical properties, this one is well kept and newly renovated. It has a charm that makes it very comfortable. It still retains its older charm but has been updated. Beds very comfortable and nice shower. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful, if simple, varied by day: eggs to order, bagels, English muffins, OJ, coffee stuff, pancakes on Sunday, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, hash browns, sausage. Coffee and water in the room. Delicious fresh cookies anytime. Tons of towels. Lovely front porch with a view of the ocean.

The beach is so close!! :)

This beach house was great, and the manager, Bernadette, was responsive to our queries and nice to talk with. Breakfast was very good. The beach is so close and that is wonderful, and you can walk to the town center just a couple blocks away.

Disappointed

Older hotel and room on 4th floor and NO elevator, in addition to 2 stairwells being <3 ft wide…good luck if handicapped or have a large bag. A/C unit in room was an “in window” unit and is very loud. Very small room. Didn’t try breakfast. Will not be back for the price. Coffee maker in room, but no cups. Bed not comfortable and woke up with a sore neck.
