The perfect blend of Hotel and AirbNb. We reserved the “Villa” which is a two story house with two ample bedrooms, a living room, media room, two full baths and kitchen. It’s 4 blocks north of Santo Domingo temple and museums, so easily walkable and comfortable. If you want the included breakfast they will deliver it… also all the cleaning and changing of towels etc at your convenience. Great staff and wonderful place. We’ll be back!

I traveled with 3 other women and we all found Hotel Casa Divina Oaxaca a great place to stay. All of the staff were helpful and attentive. The included breakfast is really good and you have choices! The location was superb. We walked everywhere! The bar above is not always open but we had one night when the music went beyond 10 pm. Otherwise not a bother.

We loved the property when we first saw it, but when we arrived, the hotel staff informed us that we wouldn’t be staying there. Instead, we were being sent to another location, far from the city center. We were exhausted from traveling and had been looking forward to checking in, so it was incredibly disappointing to be told we had to go somewhere else. This meant we would need to take a taxi every day just for breakfast, which was very frustrating. We went back to the hotel and explained that this was not what we had paid for. In the end, they agreed to give us a room at the original property. While it was a rough start and it felt like an attempt to bait and switch, everything worked out in the end, and the hotel was nice.

I had the most amazing stay at Hotel Divina from the minute we arrived to our extended stay that was extremely easy to request. The concierge was amazing providing us with places to visit outside the area. Parking was very convenient and safe as it was just around the block in a locked garage . This was our first time visiting Oaxaca and I couldn’t be more satisfied with our selection of this wonderful boutique hotel.

Property is walking distance to the square and many sights.Had breakfast on the property most days, however the terrace restuarant was not open with no explanation provided. The staff was helpful but communication was sometimes difficult for us as our spanish is not so good. Would recommend staying here for the locality alone. Rooms were adequate for our needs. Didn't care for the music loop that played too late at night for us as we retire early and could hear the bass line through the walls. That was really our only dislike.

It was pretty close to most of the popular street markets, attractions and restaurants. The staff were excellent. They helped us with transportation. The cleaning lady did an awesome job. They sent breakfast to our villa every morning and on time. As it’s in the center, you do hear the outside traffic, but we spent most of the day sightseeing, so it wasn’t a problem.

A nice hotel in the historic center of Oaxaca. A 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa with private parking is a great option for a family but take note that the villas are in a separate location from the hotel, much further from the Zocalo. The villas are still walkable to everything, but just know they are not in the same place. You can still enjoy breakfast at the hotel or in the villas. Customer service was excellent and overall we had a very nice stay.
