Preferred - accommodation in Oakville

We checked in around 7 pm and the lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming! I didn't catch her name but I commented on her cool fingernails, they were very pretty, she was awesome, so friendly and bubbly! She was the asset to the hotel!! The view from the swimming pool was amazing! We had a 1st floor room and the street noise would have been a downer but we both sleep with fans so they drowned out the majority of the street noise, so FYI make sure to bring noise canceling items if you are on the 1st floor. Being a street level room, people walking by could just look in your room and see everything, thankfully I had brought hair clips to help close the curtains to avoid peepers and keep out the sunrise light. The hotel was in the perfect place for Beale St, hitting the interstates, the Bass Pro Pyramid, walking to the riverside, catching a bus etc! The reason for the 4 stars is....the only working ice machine was on the 10th floor, there was nothing in the rooms to offer new tourists assistance to local food, attractions or shopping (staff was no help to that either). I would definitely stay there again if I was ever in the area!

This was a fantastic get away. The rooftop party was a really convenient way to see the fireworks. A regular room was kind of small and didn't have a mini fridge or microwave.
