Called Friday night as I couldn’t make up there for my initial reservation to let them know as I was a single Mother with two boys it was going to be really late and I lived in Columbus and didn’t want to make the 2.5 hour drive by myself in the dark since work was over unexpectedly by a few hours too long!! I called the actual hotel themselves not Expedia. The front desk said ok I will let them know and the manager and at least get your night comped considering the circumstances and we don’t want you driving if you don’t feel safe either. I didn’t expect them to do that, but I appreciated that whoever it was it was a male so you would make sure that they took our room off of Friday night whatever they do at night when they do their audit or whatever for the nighttime financial report, I said OK thank you and I hung up. It’s been a battle ever since as they did end up charging me for that night and I was denied a refund for that. It’s not about the money, but it’s principal if you’re going to do something and you tell me that I didn’t ask for it, but you told me you would do it!!! Now I was made to look like a liar and that was never said to me. I didn’t make that up and that person is acting like they never sent that to me. What is going on with humanity in the world anymore? What happened to the good honest people I’m an honest person. I have no reason to lie total for three nights was only $212. If you say going to do something then do it and don’t lie about it later!

The stay was great. Breakfast was delicious. The pool could use a makeover but was good for a swim. Shower pressure and hot water were great! Friendly staff.

Not very nice

This hotel is dated and in need of renovation. The WiFi is terrible. I was not able to connect my laptop to the internet. I check with the guy at the front desk and he was no help. He said some people can't connect. There was a plumbing problem down the hall and our water was turned off. Also a problem with the cable TV and it was off for a time. The breakfast was good. I will not stay here again.

This is an old, run down property. One day the water was off for hours. Another day there was a strong odor of marijuana smoke in one of the stairwells. If you are staying a while, they will only clean your room every 3 days, which seems ridiculous to me. Hotel staff was not forthright or accommodating when confronted with a major situation that required action.

We were in the area for bird watching at nearby Magee Marsh Wildlife area. This location was very convenient, only about aa 20 minute drive.

The property and building was well maitained. There was a problem with the water being shut off for a while no guest wifi it was down . The toilet was not the elongated so it was smaller than expected. Everything else was good. Their breakfasts were good. I would definitely stay again.

This facility needs an update. The accommodations was less than average. Tub was clogged, so you have water at your ankles while showering, toilet was loose at the base. So it moved every time you sat down. Breakfast was not tasty, old shower curtain touching you when showering. Just need a lot of TLC.

Thin walls and very frustrating experience

Walking in the hotel smelled like dope. Bathroom light was so loud. Walls were thin - kids were running through hallways slamming doors until midnight. The neighboring room was up all night until we left at 7 am - hotel staff did not do anything about quiet hours. The room didn’t have enough towels. Stains all over the carpet. Overall bad experience
