The hotel was very clean. The rooms were kind of cramped for a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids, but definitely didn't deter from our overall stay. It was fantastic having easy access to the park near Magnum & the waterpark (+ 1 hour early entry!). Nice selection of restaurants, pools, and hot tubs on site + easy access to the beach. Wonderful!

Stayed here for a solo vacation to Cedar Point. Staff here were very friendly, accommodating and friendly. Shuttle services to and from the park was easy to call for and arrived within a reasonable time. Hotel was quiet is the halls and clean throughout my hotel room. Will stay here again for my next visit.

Pro's: Very close to cedar point entrance which was amazing. Con's: Slow and non-enthusiastic service at front desk, no housekeeping service (only towel replacement and took out trash), no coffee in room, loud bass-beating music at the pool until 11:30pm, balcony was disgusting with dead bugs everywhere, grease marks on the sliding glass door, bathroom door didn't shut all the way, very thin blankets, not worth the cost.

We had a wonderful stay at Breaker's in Cedar Point at Sandusky, Ohio. Their amenities at Breaker's was great. My grandkids had a blast! They want to come back next year.

Upon checking in, the desk clerk told me that I can’t get any of the hotel perks for the park since I booked through Expedia. That should not be and was in no way mentioned anywhere during booking. Beds were poor quality and the rooms were noisy we could hear everything from outside window and hallway even when closed. I had random kids knocking on our door all the time and the hotel would not do anything about it. Nice location, but for price. Hotel lobby staff is very poorly educated and acted like they didn’t even work there. Too many young people working and I’m only 43, but they act very untrained and unprofessional. Then I spent $165.00 at TGI Friday inside at hotel and got 4 chicken fingers and fries and everyone else just got basic meals nothing crazy. It took the hostess a long time where to put us even though there was no one there eating.

$1350 for 3 nights. More than most Disney & Universal. We paid it for our family of four to stay on property for the first ever visit to Cedar Point. Upon checkin, there were five attendants but only two that didnt disapear is the back by the time we got to the front of the line. I think it was Dan/Don who checked us in. He was very disinterested in helping us or welcoming us. Dry & put forth no effort to educate us or explain the hotel/ammenities. I had to ask for four early entry passes as he only handed me two & our reservation clearly stated we were a family of 4. Once we walked in the room we were pleased until I entered the bathroom. There was a bowl full of toilet paper in the toilet unflushed. No waste. I assumed the maid cleaned the toilet & didnt flush it. Then I went to take a shower before bed. Once entering the shower, i turned around and noticed two open, half used, travel size bottles of hotel complimentary hair care/bath wash. Around the edge of the tub, I noticed multiple small hairs (assume pubic hair). Obviously the tub/shower was never cleaned. The maid never cleaned during our stay;only dropped off towels. Beds never were made. I called the property during our visit & was placed into the voicemail for "Paul" of who never returned the call. The beach was pretty until you walked out. Dead bird and fish which had all been dead for a LONG time. Outside/backside needs cleaned in a bad way. SUPER DISAPPOINTED. POOR. DIRTY. MONEY GRAB. STAY AWAY.

The room is “just a room”. You are paying for location and worth every penny! It was wonderful to be able to walk back to our hotel room at anytime. There are two park entrance/exits from the hotel property. Between the park dining plan, trip to Kroger and hotel restaurants, we never left the property for seven 7 nights. Friendly staff. Dated but clean. Wish they would remove the small tub and replace with a walk in shower and shower wand.

The Breakers provides easy walking access to Cedar Point. The on site restaurants are good and entirely fine for a 1-2 night stay. No need to get back in your car to travel to an off site restaurant + there are plenty of dining options in the park. The check in process was arduous and took much more time than checking in at any hotel I’ve stayed at in the recent past. Not sure if it’s their slow reservation software system or check in agent issues, but I spent 20-30 minutes checking in at the front desk, and then later picking up my room keys. And that doesn’t count the time waiting in line. Checkout was much better with better staffing at the front desk.

Property location is great. Convenient to everything - the park and lake. Has a few restaurants inside and Starbucks. Housekeeping was awful - didn’t come everyday, didn’t give towels or soap, didn’t take out trash, etc.
