Stepping Back In TIme

Of all the Holiday Inn Express Hotels we have stayed in over the past few years, this has been the most disappointing hotel. It was like stepping back into the late 70's early 80's type of hotel. Very outdated, other than the shampoo/soap dispensers and the door key lock. It was a last minute choice to stay here, since we needed a hotel to stay driving between Seattle to Sacramento and booked this along the way. I trusted I made a good choice.

The only problem I had was I stayed here the night we finished packing the moving truck and I knew I really needed to use the hot tub. I chose this hotel because I believed it had a hot tub. However, there was no hot tub and I was very disappointed as my body really needed to relax in it.

My room was clean and quiet. Flooring would be due for replacement, but it didn’t distract from my overall stay. The breakfast area was clean and offered hot selections, cereals, juices, coffees, pastries, yogurts, etc. There was even a little table with activities for children to grab and go. That included coloring sheets and puzzles. A nice touch for families with children. Staff greeted me warmly.
