Newcastle Central Station has direct services operating to locations across the UK including Ashington, Carlisle, Doncaster, Edinburgh, Hartlepool, Leeds, London, Plymouth, Reading and Whitby.
Two bus routes operate in Lintz Green with both the X71 and X71A offering access to Consett and Newcastle upon Tyne.
