Love the Inn, forget the fitness room.

The Inn is very nice, the pillows were too fat for me but the staff found me a thinner one. The place is clean, breakfast very good and staff friendly. Location great. The fitness room has 3 machines, only one works, but not well. When I reported it they said very few uses it. But 2 new ones are on order! Why advertise it if not in good order! I guess that is why i didn't rate the Inn 5.

perfect location.

We had two different rooms, the first one was an apartment in two floors, living room, one bathroom an kitchen in the lower level, and bedroom a big bathroom with Jacuzzi and a very nice terrace in the second. our second room was very nice with a big bathroom also with Jacuzzi. Parking spaces were tight. Location was the best.

I would have done all 5s if parking was better, it is pretty tight and people shopping use some of the available spots. But even with that the location of the hotel is so good that highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this property so conveniently located in the heart of Newburyport. The interior upgrades to the period structures are equivalent to those found in a modern 4-star hotel. Such a treat to have parking in a location where space is at a premium. Enjoyed the stay.

Downtown Inn with all the Comforts

Love this inn that is perfectly located in the middle of Newburyport’s downtown, yet quiet and cozy. Parking on the side and in the back. We stay in the original part and the rooms are huge with a working gas fireplace. So nice in winter. Very comfortable huge four poster bed, desk and 3 chairs. A great coffee shop, Angie’s is a block away as is Anchor pizza. Also Bar-25 for gourmet Mediterranean menu and fancy drinks.
