We liked the place.

We liked the vast majority of everything about the stay. Our only criticisms were; 1) there must have been some sort of maintenance work being done on the 2nd floor just down from our room - 220. For the entire duration of our stay there was a ladder leading up into the landing ceiling. And no sign of any work being done at any time: 2) I would have appreciated more updated or more pleasant shower facilities. What we had was adequate but dated. And there were some rust marks around the bath that were quite unsightly.

Ex Hilton hotel. Not easy to find because roadsigns still said Hilton. Lovely, helpful staff but I couldn’t get room heating to work. One thin blanket on bed so was a bit cold. Decent food, excellent breakfast
