Hotel Aalders is a small boutique hotel (less than 50 rooms) located in a historic building in the Museum District. It is ideally located just a few minutes walk to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, half an hour walk to Ann Frank House, and many other museums and attractions, restaurants and bars. The hotel is very well maintained and the services are excellent. The staff were all most friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our stay at Aalders was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Europe. At the staff suggestion, we took the bus, half a block from the hotel, to Schiphol airport, a half hour ride for 7 Euros or so and with no transfers.

The entire experience at The Toren was exceptional. The hotel was cozy, comfortable and located in a great area close to restaurants, museums, shopping and the central train station. Breakfast food selections tasty and filling. All interactions with the hotel team members were pleasant and helpful.

Check-in and check out is a really painful process, but other than that, it’s all very good
