Amazing!!

Our entire stay was AMAZING! Chris was so helpful in providing information about fun activities our group could do during our stay. We provided with such great details about the check-in/-out process, the home was extremely clean, and such a lovely place to stay at! 10/10 would recommend and stay here again!

Perfect Family Reunion Spot

Our extended family of 11 adults and kids all enjoyed this lovely and comfortable home. The house was big enough for everyone to spread out and have their own space to relax, including our crew of teenagers who esp. enjoyed the downstairs entertainment area. The house is clean and well-kept, in addition to being tastefully decorated. In general, we found everything to be in excellent condition. The location is outstanding. We enjoyed the Wintergreen amenities (tennis courts, swimming pool), area hiking trails, and many breweries and vineyards. Charlottesville is an easy 30-minute drive. Chris was incredibly helpful with providing local recommendations, in addition to generally being very responsive before and during our stay. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more responsive VRBO owner! I highly recommend this property and hope to return.

Nice Getaway

We went to stay here for the weekend with our kids ages 2-8. It was well stock for young kids with a crib, high chair and toys. There was also a play area gate that worked well at the top of the stairs. We didn't bring any toys for the weekend and the kids were well-entertained. The adults and 8-year-old loved the ping pong table. The kids' bedroom (with bunk beds) does have a glass door, which made utilizing the ping pong room/movie room after the kids went to sleep a non-starter. But that wasn't a huge deal. The host was super responsive and very easy to book from. We would definitely come back!

Graduation Weekend

We loved the spacious, well-appointed house, the rolling hills and mountains where it is situated, and its easy proximity to Charlottesville and local wineries. Our weekend celebrated our son's UVA graduation, so we traveled back and forth to CVILLE and never stopped enjoying the trips and taking in the countryside. Chris communicated before, during, and after the trip to ensure we were happy and had what we needed. We recommend staying here!

Wonderful home for our celebration!

All 12 guests fit perfectly in this home. It was clean, great location close to wintergreen and lots of breweries and nicely appointed. I so appreciated the owner helping prepare the home for cooking our feasts! The patio was a nice retreat, as was the ping pone table! Just bring food, drinks and that is it. A great weekend was had by all!! Thank you

Cozy Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a wonderful holiday at this lovely house in the Shenandoah Valley with three generations of family. The kitchen was well equipped, the firepit on the deck was cozy, and we all enjoyed watching the World Cup on the big TVs. The kitchen is large enough for multiple cooks and chatters can sit at the island or the kitchen table. Kids can retreat to the downstairs when they get tired of hearing the oldsters' stories. There is plenty of convenient parking, a nice laundry room, and lovely views. We walked to the nearby lake, visited Monticello, the Grand Caverns, and the Bold Rock cidery. A great trip!

Beautiful Mountain Escape

My husband and I spent six blissful days in this wonderful home. Everything from the moment we arrived went seamlessly. Chris was a fabulous host and made everything extremely easy to access and understand. As for the house, it has everything you could possibly need and more to make your stay perfect. It was so nice to come back to the house each evening after our daily activities and sit outside on the deck by the fire-pit admiring the lovely views of the mountains. We cannot wait to visit again!
