I had requested a ground floor room when i made reservation and when i arrived he said they were all booked. My mom has trouble doing stairs and it was a real Hassel. The guy didn't seem to care. The tv wouldn't work. They didn't know how to fix it. I finally got it using my own hot spot!! Which is ridiculous!! The fridge wasn't cold but the freezer worked. We didn't have an ice bucket and they didn't have any extra. The key doesn't work for the back door of the room. So if you go out that way you can't lock it. The comforters are extremely rough and uncomfortable and no other blankets to use. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were very watered down. Overall disappointing stay!

This is not a “resort” Checked in an 6pm- no front desk worker but key in basket. When left at 9am no worker either- just left key. Hotel hasn’t been updated in years- many things broken in room-.

What a hidden lil paradise!! Great value, friendly chill staff (Jamie), sweet lil breakfast in the outdoor tiki, the restaurant was delicious! My only problem was with Expedia.. taking the payment on my card..when i was to pay at property. Highly recommend Port of the Islands Resort!!

A great location to visit the Everglades. Room was slightly tired and cleanliness could be improved especially the floor and coffee maker. However, a wonderful location and excellent Thai/French restaurant.

This place is a fun secret! Not so fancy but it has a really nice restaurant and it was not crowded.

As we had an early kayak tour in the Everglades' mangroves, we stayed at this property for one night. This is a large hotel with 4 or five blocks of very comfortable little motels surrounding a nice pool, each with a little screened balcony.( That is where we were). The motels probably could use a little renovation but it was really clean, the staff was very friendly and we did not need more. There is a restaurant at the hotel but beside that, you need to hop in your car as the area is very residential.
