Sunset Sanctuary: Soundfront, Spectacular Sunsets!
There is only a small percentage of homes on the Outer Banks that have a view of the setting sun, over Roanoke Sound, as Sunset Sanctuary has. Hence the name! Bring your cameras! Our porch provides the perfect ending of the day when you combine; our view, with friends, beverages, and snacks.
Enhance your viewing, the pond is home to dozens of turtles, some very large, so bring your binoculars. Watch the turtle’s sun themselves on the bank or swim by our boardwalk. And…. the home also overlooks the closing holes of the golf course.
The home has 4 master bedroom suites, each with its own bath. The reverse floor plan puts the living space/great room on the top floor, leading to a covered porch for that “forever” view of the sound. There are 3 deck levels facing west and the setting sunset.
The home is located within the Nags Head Golf community. Guests will have access to the Beach Club (pool, snack shop, bar, pickleball court, Olympic size & kiddie pool, lifeguarded beach access) as well as discounted golf fees at the golf course. A short walk from the house is the community launch for your kayak, paddleboard, or windsurfing.
This is a great community for walking, bike riding, and jogging – outside the hustle and bustle of the Highway and the Beach Road. Though, you are an easy walk to the shopping mall/grocery stores. Sunset Sanctuary is the perfect spot to relax, OBX style!

Amazing views and location
The property is beautiful and location convenient to stores, beach and restaurants. Needs more clarification as to how to get to community pool and shuttle. Village Beach Club was amazing, friendly staff and resort feel. Televisions in all rooms but no reception Would definitely return!

The good with the bad
The house was large enough for our party (8 adults). The view was pleasing. The linens were sufficient. There were no extra pillowcases for any of the beds. The master closet was locked. They provided an armoire with a hanging bar that had 6 in. of clearance. The light above the sink was burned out and tiles were loose. The mirrors had a cloudy film over them. There was no cleaner provided for the glass table top. The floors were sticky. The towels were thin. No towel bar in the bathroom except on the shower door. Some rentals offer condiments, salt pepper, dishwasher detergent, etc. Not this house.

Very Spacious with a Gorgeous View
This house is very spacious and has a beautiful view. It was more than enough room for 4 adults, a teenager and two kids. My middle child loved the decor.
