When we went into the office to check in there were people waiting and only one desk clerk. She said here, check in with (whatever) which was an Ipad with a person that did not speak English. We had to ask the clerk questions anyways so kind of a waste of time. Then we got our room number and it was 504. We went outside and there were 2 buildings with 3 stories, no 5. We went back inside and were told we were in a building across the street! That would have been nice to know.

At soonest we got the keys we didn't unload, we just checked the rooms and we didn't settle in until we decided which room we were going to choose, the 3 families that we were going to have. The problem began while walking down the hall then the first room smelled strongly of humidity, the bathroom was not very clean, the second and third rooms smelled like cigarettes (marijuana), none of the rooms were as shown in the photos (expectation vs reality) and we asked for help with cleaning, unfortunately there was no staff, they asked us to wait the next day but part of my family are asthmatics and could not stay in those conditions. So we had to cancel. In the buildings they had signs that said no smoking but in most of the rooms you could see many people smoking and I do not mean one or two but several people and the hallways had terrible smells, after a 7 hour trip tired, hungry hoping to relax and enjoy our stay and found the opposite view wasn't worth it so we had to pay extra for a last minute hotel, what a shame

Pictures are terribly misleading and false advertising. This place should be condemned. The building was falling apart from the outside in. Water leaking and pooling all over the walkways and stairs. Dirty trays sitting under AC units and leaking all over. The beds were tiny and felt like laying on a cardboard box. The towels and sheets felt like sandpaper. Bugs in the rooms dirty laundry and trash littered outside the room. Sink cracked, shower had a bad spackle job, toilet barely flushed. No soap in dispensers, no Kleenex in container and 1 half used roll of toilet paper with brown stains on it. No batteries in remotes for tv and AC unit and tv left on upon checking in the room and AC was freezing. Forced to unplug everything from the wall. Everytime I turned around I found more issues with the stay. Would never stay here again and will be sure to let others know. They should be ashamed of themselves for the pictures they have advertising themselves it looks nothing like the accommodations we were sold.

Hated to have to walk across the street to enjoy the pool and the beach. The parking at the main hotel was extremely tight. There was nothing to do at the actual second building where we stayed except to sit on the balcony. It would've been nice to have a pool at that location as well.

We have stayed at older motels that were much better cared for. While check in was a breeze, MUCH TLC is needed. windows were filthy, room smelled of mold, (it was clean) outside had catch basins under every air conditioner instead of better thought out system. Paint job needed. 😔

Decent hotel

We just returned from a 3 night stay. It was easy to check in and being right at the ocean was nice. The room was no frills but met our needs. We had trouble with the access code to our room but the front desk resolved that for us quickly. The beds were too high for someone with young children. My daughter had to be boosted every time. Our room was next to all of the air conditioner units which at first had us worried. But we honestly never heard them. It was actually very quiet in our room which was a pleasant surprise. The pool, however, leaves much to be desired.

Great location however the main hotel is showing its age.. no elevators ,i dont even think our room was even cleaned?? There were signs of that no coffee cups ripped open pack of creamer laying there also no wash cloths and linens were also limited.

The 4 star isn't the hotel's fault. You can't control the sand. So much sand. But the hotel gives each room their own broom, so they try. But it's very convenient location to the beach and not too far from various shopping and eating establishments.

Terrible place. Totally below minimum standards. Everything was off from check in to check out. Terrible service, dirty and old place, bugs in the room. We booked another hotel and left about one hour after check in.

We really liked the location of the inn and the private access to the beach. The room was very small for a double bed room, and the bathroom was wayyyyy too small. The room also had a really bad humid smell to it, and the AC was so loud throughout the night. Breakfast was decent, you get what you expect from a free breakfast.
