The room was clean and modern. We had a recliner, which was a plus! The mattress was too soft for my taste, but newer and comfortable. Would be helpful to have hangers, and Kleenex. The front desk employee was great!

Very nice staff. Expedia booked me a room that the hotel had already booked causing overflow. The staff shuffled for us and made it work, but expedia caused issues, not the hotel.

This was my family's thrid annual diamond hunt. This is the third time my two sons and I stayed at the Yellow Diamond Inn. Each time the stay was great. My oldest son (8 years old) does not want to think about staying at another hotel. My only regret is that I left a small bag of items from the State Park which my sons had purchased to bring home. I left the bag on the table below the tv. If I was not 8 hours away, I would go back and try to retrive the items.

The bed was uncomfortable. Most hotels provide shampoo and bar soap. This room had no shampoo and the bar soap was a sliver. Especially for the price it could have been better.
