This was a lovely cozy hotel with lots of different areas to relax. The service in the bar area was excellent and the breakfast was lovely too. We thoroughly enjoyed the pianist entertainment and the hotel really made an effort to create a lovely festive atmosphere. We booked 3 rooms and were put in the annexe. The double rooms on the first floor were lovely but the twin room on the second floor was rather pokey, dark, cold and dated and could do with renovating.

Breakfast was delicious a good choice. Room clean but bathroom freezing even with heated towel rail. Tap very stiff and shower dual falling off. Only issue was very noisy on sat night due to function and we were in the separate building

The hotel is right on the river offering excellent views. Staff are very friendly and are really efficient serving meals. Food was fresh and delicious.

Overall I found this place a little underwhelming from how it was advertised, the biggest plus I could give is that it’s safe and in a really nice location next to the river which gives it a really grand scenery. The rooms seemed like something I stayed in while I was at uni and the carpets weren’t the cleanest that along with a torn bath towel didn’t really give it the best vibe. On the whole stay if you like it but I’m sure there are much better options out there.

The hotel is nice. There is bath ropes, a fan an iron in the room. The bed was comfortable. The location was great. However, we were so disappointed that there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. A small kettle would have made a huge difference to our trip

The Glenmoriston is a wonderful place to stay. The location is not only convenient, but it’s also right on the Ness River. The staff is amazingly helpful and attentive, the room was spotless, the bed and linens comfortable. I highly recommend the place!

Great Hotel and Restaurant

It was a great location in the heart of Inverness. The restaurant on site was incredible. The room was clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend this stay if you’re in the area.
