Very helpful and friendly staff. Modern hotel spotlessly clean. Good size bedroom and comfortable bed with good kitchen facilities. Breakfast buffet was included and was excellent, constantly replenishing the food. Location was good and only 20 minutes from Marienplatz. Extremely enjoyable stay.

I stay at Residence Inn properties. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat, body wash dispenser and towel rack. We did not feel safe in the neighborhood.

Bad service at front desk

Front desk was busy socializing with friends outside, I had to ask another guest where the employee is. After going outside to ask for service it was given with attitude, apparently I should not have interrupted his socializing. Sigh.

Best Hotel On Our Trip!

This hotel was one of the best stays we had on our recent trip to Germany! The service was great and the staff was outstanding. The location was super, close to the train station and within walking distance of tour connections. We highly recommend this venue! We will go back next time we are in Germany.

Big rooms,

We loved this hotel. The rooms were massive compared to other rooms we stayed in while in Europe. The area around the hotel is nice. We liked the pizza restaurant at the end of the block. The continental breakfast was good and had both American and German favorites available.

This hotel is more like a Motel, no service at all, no one to assist with our luggage, someone manning the reception is the only service provided. Marriott seems to use this awful mattress toppers which overflow from the sides and takes shape where middle of the bed sinks in, not helpful if you have a back problems. I asked them if they could change my mattress to a more firmer mattress, they said no however offered to move me into another room which had the same type of mattress and mattress topper. I asked if they could remove the mattress top, they said yes however when we got back to our hotel late afternoon, mattress top wasn’t removed, went to reception to ask, I was told housekeeping went home. I went to my room and removed the topper myself. Very poor selection of goods for breakfast, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, 3 types of fruit, 3 types of bread, few cereals. No teaspoons , when asked they told me they run out of teaspoons because they only have few of them and to use tablespoons to mix my coffee, had to ask for serviettes couple of times because they had run out of it. Am surprised that this establishment has Marriott brand and lowers the brands standards. I do not recommend this place and will not stay here again.
