The location to train station, less than 300 m, the facility was very clean, and the staff very helpful. The young lady Marta, who checked us in was very nice and even gave us a map highlighting local spots. Room was perfect, clean,and cozy. And free coffee 24 hrs a day perfect in lobby, and they do offer breakfast but we skipped that were over 60 don't eat much for breakfast. We will stay again for sure.

Nicole was brilliant - sorted a room on the ground floor at short notice via the Expedia messaging. We were able to check in before 1100hrs, only in the city for 24hrs, we were able to drop our bags and hit the markets straight away. We were also provided with detailed information with regards to all of the Christmas markets. The room(No. 10) exceeded expectations, great VFM, roomy, large bed, firm mattress and wet room shower with toiletries and hair dryer. We arrived by train but the hotel does have a few parking spaces. 5 minute walk from the Central Station.

Wir haben anlässlich eines Musicalbesuches eine Nacht im Hotel Metropol in einem Komfortzimmer mit Terrasse im 5. Stock übernachtet. Das Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen. Sehr netter Empfang und Service, ein total liebevoll eingerichtetes einerseits nostalgisches und doch modernes Zimmer und ein hervorragendes Frühstück in einem sehr gemütlichen Frühstücksraum. Außerdem eine kostenlose Kaffeestation in der Lobby. Das ganze Hotel ist familiär und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Es liegt auch günstig in Laufweite zur Altstadt und zum Deutschen Theater. Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage können für 19 Euro gebucht werden. Wenn wir mal wieder in München sind, werden wir sicher wieder hier nächtigen.

A few minutes’ walk from the central train station, the rooms that do not face the road are very quiet. However, they do not provide daily room service, so you will need to collect fresh towels yourself. Slippers are not provided for free.

Wonderful hotel that’s walking distance to the center of Munich. Great amenities, clean room, and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff are really nice and provided exceptional customer service. They help identify an issue with a planned tour offered by Expedia (meeting location 2 hours away drive). Why it was offered for Munich is another issue. Regardless, they were very helpful. The hotel also has a free coffee for guest, which is an absolute treat. Highly recommended hotel for anyone visiting Munich, Germany. Thank you.

Breakfast is 22 euro per person ($27 usd) for a sizable buffet. I would rather have a smaller breakfast option. There is no maid services so if you need toilet paper you have to go get it. They do offer free coffee thruout the day. Location is walkable to the Old Town and right next to the train station.
