Mullingar Cheap Hotels

We stayed here for 2 nights on our recent tour of Ireland. Firstly, the location was gorgeous. The little stream at the back of the property created a perfect backdrop to the pretty 'little' cottage. It was very easy to find using satnav, and there was parking for at least 2 cars. We were given plenty of clear instructions by the owner, enabling us to gain entry. We found that the 'little' cottage wasn't so little at all. It was a well equipped 3 bedroom cottage, with everything you would need for a holiday. It was clean and tidy, although it probably needs a little updating in the bathroom. A particularly lovely touch was the ingredients for an Irish breakfast, left in the fridge. Of huge importance was the quality of our sleep. This stay was halfway through our 2 week tour and the first time we had had two undisturbed night's sleep. The bed was really comfy and, despite being on the front of the house, the room was quiet. We wouldn't hesitate to return to the cottage, and to Mullingar, if we decided to visit Ireland again.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from the town. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and the buffet breakfast was a great start to each day.
