B&B Ireland - accommodation in Kinnegad

The hotel decor, staff, dinner and bedroom were excellent. The Leisure centre facilities were not good from a guest viewpoint. The changing room was akin to what would be expected for schoolchildren. There were swimming lessons in progress at 09:00 on Sunday morning with parents watching through a window, this was not a welcome or comfortable experience for a hotel guest. The pool area was too hot. The outdoor areas was tatty, the sauna was too small and was packed with 6 people in it. The Fire and Salt restaurant for breakfast was mayhem and very noisy. Not good for anyone with sensory issues. The breakfast food was running out at 10:25am, the juices weren’t fresh and the bread was awful. Overall however, it was a nice hotel and sincere thanks to all the staff who were superb.

Great location

Amazing view of the beautiful golf course (non golfer)! The spa and amenities were fantastic! Highly recommend the salt grotto! The staff at the bar were friendly and a hoot. It’s a lovely walk into town too.
