The clock did not work, light bulbs were out, the coffee maker leaked. The room was clean, but the kleenex box was empty. Towels were fine, it had hot water, the bed clothes were decent. A very inexpensive place to stay, and it shows.

Clean and friendly. Bed was huge and soft. Walking distance to major shopping. Plenty of parking. Staff at check in and check out were professional and nice and rate and room info were written down and clear. The cash deposit for the room was instantly refunded at check out, unlike a different brand of hotel elsewhere in Mount Vernon that kept a 2 week hold on the money even after I went back to a different state. I was surprised how nice my stay was here.

Beds are some of the most comfortable beds. I’ve slept on in low budget hotels. The stay itself was horrific. I was on the bottom floor and directly outside my window. There was a wonderful man who decided at 12 AM. He wanted to start his car and blast extremely loud mariachi music that literally woke me up out of a dead sleep with my noise canceling sleep mask. Not only that but the hotel is attached to a Mexican restaurant/bar and there is zero parking.

We had ants in the bathroom, but the towels were clean. Toilet seat was severely mastered and distasteful looking. The beds were made nicely, but the sheets had stains. The room was not cleaned well. There were large chunks of debris on the floors. The armchair did not look clean at all and the lamp had a burned out bulb. The breakfast was sparse, but tolerable. The staff were helpful and polite though.

Ants were in the room. The hallway smelled like wet dog and then cigarette smoke. The “breakfast” consisted of cereal and/or bread. I stay here all the time when we bowl tournaments. This was very disappointing.
