Staff was prompt and helpful.
A lovely space to stretch out and provide your own meals.
The cleanliness was not acceptable. It was fine until we noticed thick dirt on shelving and between the stove and kitchen bench. The rangehood did not work. We needed to clean the cutlery drawer due to dirt. The microwave tripped the safety switch, leaving us to find the external fuse box.
The sofa had not been cleaned, obvious by the popcorn under the cushions.
Towel rails and toilet paper holder was broken, some cupboard handles missing. Under furniture and hand basin in the bathroom was thick dirt and dirty tissues. Also the plug was missing in the bathroom.
In the main bedroom: the bedside lamps were not able to be used, one missing a globe, the power board was jammed between the bed and wall therefore not accessible. Some curtains were coming off the rail.
The occasional tables needed repairs - loose legs.
The previous guest had left used soap resting on the shower head arm.
The communal laundry was filthy and we would not use it.
A dustpan and broom would have been a helpful addition for client use. There was an empty dish detergent bottle. Extra bin liners, kitchen scourer were absent. We were there for 10 days and had to request fresh towels.
Both inside and outside had multiple old and dusty spider webs.
The driveway was broken and unsafe.
There was no information regarding operation of the electrical appliances or local contacts eg the Manager or local eateries etc.
