The place is pretty dingy, but it's very close to the beach and boardwalk and this meant more to us for the one night (thankfully, just one) that we stayed there than finding something fancy.

I arrived just after 17.00 in the evening after a 7 hr journey. The reception area and lobby were completely deserted, apart from the lone receptionist who was attentive and pleasant. Secure parking in the hotel garage cost me an additional €9.00, as the free parking is actually an uncovered site across the road. Not in the original description as I recall? The hotel is a throwback from the glorious past and the rooms small but apparently recently remodeled. Just the bare essentials here. The toilet and shower are directly opposite each other divided by the small entrance corridor. There is a new mini fridge and a washing sink basically. It was for 1 night only, and with this room that's all it ever would be. The bed was firm but the sheets clean. A ridiculous sausage pillow was provided, why do they still make these :( ? Found 2 x small square pillows that were so soft they provided zero support at all. No real curtains to speak of just a sheer piece of cotton that allowed the central courtyard lights to shine into the room all night. The unnecessary added feature of 3 x mangled flies within the folds of the curtains was just not what you would expect to see, in any hotel! Plenty of hot water on instant demand which was nice however the shower door didn't close properly due to being badly installed. Wifi is available but take the wifi connect instructions BEFORE you leave reception, no phone in the room to call down. Save yourself two flights. Didn't stay for breakfast.
Not ideal when you have a 06.00 start the next morning... begs the question as to why the courtyard lights are on at all??
Found a cupboard with a toilet in it... A plastic toilet lid to compliment.
Found the broom cupboard, there was a toilet in it. Love the drywalling job!
The shower room. Thank goodness for the towel heater, room was freezing so cranked it up to max so I diidnt have to run the air con.

Das Zimmer war sehr schmuddelig. Das WC war nicht gereinigt und an der linken Wand beim WC hatte es braune Flecken. Dusche sehr klein. Das Zimmer hatte einen komischen Geruch. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Bien dans son ensemble, à noter quand même des traces un peu douteuses par si, par là... une vitrocéramique qui ne fonctionne pas depuis longtemps (un cache est collé dessus) mais pas réparée?? bref c'est dommage car cet endroit est d'un bon rapport qualité prix et surtout bien placé. J'espère que vous tiendrez compte de mes remarques car il manque pas grand chose pour que cela soit impeccable...
