Before booking with Expedia, I called the front desk of the Fairfield Inn and Suites. I spoke to a lady at the front desk who confirmed to me that I was entitled to free parking for a week and that I would receive taxi vouchers for my ride to and from the Moncton airport. When I arrived for check in, I was told that this was not possible and that I would have to pay for parking and for my taxi drives to and from the airport. The gentleman at the front desk contacted the manager about this, who did not help at all. Instead, the manager told the front desk attendant to sell me a parking pass and told him that I would have to pay for my own cabs to and from the airport. My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times before when flying to various location from the Moncton Airport. We have always taken advantage of the park and ride option, which, unfortunately, was denied to me during this, my last stay. Our airport parking costs were $160.00, a cost we were not expecting to incur, given my early communications with the front desk. We are truly disappointed. My family and I will not be staying at Fairfield Inn and Suites again.
