Kitchenette useless but good pool

This is a budget friendly family spot, with a great pool that predates the hotel and includes access to an outdoor courtyard. Ridiculously, the kitchenette in the suite is almost entirely unstocked - no dishes, no cutlery, no glasses,no towels or cloths to clean up with - which makes it impractical for a stay of any length. The staff told me to bring my family's dishes to the front desk for replenishing as needed, but always had me wait behind the guests checking in when this was needed so it always took a long time. This got to be frustrating after a couple of days. Eco-friendliness score would have a higher rating if the hotel had composting and recycling options aligned with the services provided in the city of Moncton, but it does not.

The building is obviously an older structure. It looks to be undergoing some work. There is dust and dirt. To be expected. Hopfully our roo. Isn't one that is considered done. Very sloppy workmanship if so. We had a room with a a king sized bed. It was acceptable. The room was huge. The bathroom was tiny and cramped for space

Doesn’t appear to be any pride in ownership. Parking lot was full of potholes, cracked/heaved pavement, parking stall lines worn off, broken downspouts/gutters, floors were all ripped up on the main floor, construction material just laying around the hall. Staff was slow and screwed up my check in. Next time I stay in Moncton, it won’t be here.

Was checked into an occupied room when we arrived. We then got moved to another room which was not cleaned when we arrived. Beds unmade, no towels etc. Very uncomfortable mattresses.
