Took a bit to get checked in, as only one clerk and the couple in front had issues. Then our door wouldn't open even though the key card worked correctly. I had to go back to the counter to learn the trick. The upper floor only has external stair access, no elevator. So be prepared to haul your luggage up stairs.

The staff was very pleasant. They made me feel welcome and heard. There was a small issue with a charge and they solved it quickly and gave me information for follow up if needed. The room was very clean and for the area, in my opinion, updated.

Direct line doesn't work

I wanted the office to arrange for me to stay an extra day. the direct number was never answered, only went to a voicemail that was not set up and the 800# said they couldn't help we had to use the app we originally used. Hotels.com was not allowing me to sign it, kept saying "something went wrong" when the codes were entered. Very Frustrating

Did a quick stay to break up amount of driving we were doing. Nice spot, as others indicated room was clean the grounds were good access to 24 hour gym in the breakfast was pretty decent considering. All in all, surprisingly good deal/good stay

Pillow cases didn’t match. Towels were thin. Shower head was patine. Gave you ear plugs for the train that is near by. Overpriced for what you get.

⭐️ If I Could Give Negative Stars, I Would ⭐️ I’ve stayed in some rough places before, but this absolute pit in Barstow takes the cake—and then drops it on the filthy carpet, where it sits for eternity. From the moment I stepped into my room, I knew I had made a grave mistake. The sheets? Streaked with skid marks. The floor? A graveyard of mysterious debris. And the pièce de résistance? A set of dirty fingernail tips casually left behind, like a calling card from whatever goblin had the room before me. I didn’t check for bed bugs because I value my sanity, but I could feel them watching me. The bathroom fan wheezed like it was on life support, and the bathroom door had grease marks on it—either someone’s last desperate attempt to escape or an artistic interpretation of despair. Outside, the parking lot featured a used condom wrapper, which, given the state of the place, was the closest thing to a public health initiative they had. I slept in my clothes on top of a towel and counted down the hours until I could flee (flea?). If you are considering staying here, I beg you—sleep in your car, find a bus station bench, lie in a ditch. Anything is better than this place.
