Needs an update

The hotel is showing some wear and tear, one hot tub not working, splash pad out of order, one hot tub very cracked. The room had aging bathroom fixtures and leaky sink. Maintenance fixed it promptly. The tv and remotes were crossing signals with each other.

Just like most hotel chains these days, only superficial “cleaning” is being done. Such nice big rooms but filthy carpets and tile. Couch was ripped up and dirty. The more you look at things with the lights on, the more you notice. Bed skirting was ripped and stained. Everything just looked tired. Also, the obligatory breakfast was very weak. Watery fake scrambled “eggs”, soggy steamed paper thin bacon, etc. You know the like. My shower stopped working mid-shampoo. I was able to rinse off with the faucet. The staff did send maintenance and fix it while I was out for the day.

Very kid friendly. Heated pool so even on days that worked warm the kids were still able to swim. The breakfast that’s included was great for everyone.

The swimming pools were Amazing! Excluding the splash pad was off the entire trip. The kids loved the waterfalls! However, the room we stayed at was not the best. We didn’t have a dresser in the room and there wasn’t a good air circulation. The room had a smell. Also the breakfast served was not good.

This was our second time staying here. We got a family suite this time and it was great to all 4 of us but I wish it had a 2nd bathroom. The door on the bathroom was also a bit wonky and not very private. Loved the convenience of the fridge for preparing lunches each day. The pool is fantastic and the morning breakfast was a bit chaotic but pretty good each day. Nice variety.

We will stay here again for sure! We had so much fun. My kids loved the pool and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was inclusive of my kiddo, especially Scott, who created a special handshake with my Vinnie. We were grateful that we were placed on the first floor, especially when the power went out. Thanks for being kind and making our vacation extra special.

This hotel is right across the street from the arches national park back side entry. Look it up if you do not know. It is my favorite hike in Arches. I highly recommend this hotel. It is run by an excellent general manager. It has awesome amenities at a good price. It is also clean. I love the big windows and the incredible pool facilities.

Good and bad.

Amazingly thin walls between rooms and halls. Good breakfast options but they run out of things. Nice pool area and river views. For the price, I expected a bit more.
