In my opinion and from my experience after 2 stays, the Sheraton at FRA is an absolutely top notch facility and operation. Aesthetically the hotel property is highly attractive. The staff is friendly, personable, and competent. The Eatery (restaurant) is an incredible place to eat and drink. My friend and I spent several enjoyable hours there. The rooms I had on the 2 stays were comfortable and cleaned with the needed amenities. Unequivocally I can state that if you ever need a hotel at FRA the Sheraton needs to be the one you select.

We pulled in to the parking area that was very hard to find. No signs pointing to the check in area, had to ask. I said my flight was leaving early, was put in a room quite far from the elevator. The WiFi did not work, no one at the desk area said a word about it the bed was hard, the water pressure was very low and the water was scalding hot one minute, very cold the next. Strange! The room was very clean, everyone were spoke to was very friendly. I will try one of the other hotels next time. For the price, I’ve stayed other places more comfortably for a third of the price.

When we arrived, we received an unexpected upgrade to a lovely room!! Check in staff were friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. I didn't rate the breakfast due to not someone who eats breakfast. I fly to Germany often and always stay at this hotel.

I want to express my deep disappointment with the behavior of the front desk staff during check-in. After entering the room, my in-laws, for whom I had made a reservation, called me to the US, panicking that there was no bed, just a small sofa. I asked them to go downstairs and call me from the reception so I could speak with them in English (my in-laws cannot communicate in either German or English). The lady at the reception said that they gave them an "upgrade" and that she would send a technician to set up a bed. The technician arrived in about 30 minutes with a special key to set up the bed and pulled out blankets, pillows, etc. I am just wondering what type of "upgrade" it was, and what the reception staff thought about in a 4-star hotel, providing two elderly people with no knowledge of a foreign language a room that required additional attention and setup.

Great place to drop into while traveling from the United States to Europe. Flew in and then took a train halfway across Germany the next day and with was a stress free and pleasant experience.
