Spring break

Everything was great! Very clean and was equipped with everything we needed. Location was perfect, close to the beach and a golf cart ride away from restaurants, shops and supermarket. Definitely will stay again.

We enjoyed a few days at the beach. The water was perfect. The sand was like white powder. And then we would return to our cool, quiet condo to make dinner plans. Very relaxing!

Beautiful and simple property. Right on the lake and a short walk to the pool and the beach. We have stayed in several condos in this property and this one is well maintained and a great stay. Golf cart was great and a short ride to BayTowne. Would be happy to stay there again in the years to come.

Last Minute Getaway

Property was as advertised. Golf cart was usuable but dated. It did not have a cover which explains why it was dirty and sandy upon arrival. Entry to property was quick and easy. Communication with property management was poor, never heard back after reaching out X2. Resort fees seemed excessive as we didnt have access to certain amenities on site. In the future with more time and availability, we would find a more modern updated location in the future. Golf courses were in poor condition, beach was great but if we would have known the resort takes up 3/4 of it with rental chairs and umbrellas that would have helped. Overall we had a good time, but our experience with VRBO rentals in the past has been much bettter.

Safe stay in a Great Location

We all enjoyed our stay. Location is great! The teens enjoyed the freedom of the golf cart. We have stayed at the resort before and apprecciate the variety of activities. The kitchen had what I needed to cook for a group. We loved the outdoor spaces. We had a good amount of beach time and the back porch was nice and quiet after a spring break week with alot of people. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure was great, plenty of towels. The condo was clean, and everyone had enough space.

Dated vacation home in need of TLC

CONS: This vacation home has a lot of potential, however, it is quite dated and was NOT clean. The floors, particularly the tile floor, the grout was black. There was dust clinging to the walls and ceiling in most rooms. The walls and doors (especially the front door) are in desperate need of paint-lots of scuff marks and chipped paint. The area rugs were filthy. The kitchen is unorganized as far as the cookware and we pulled out dirty silverware on multiple occasions. The back patio needs to be pressure washed because there is mold on the patio and chairs. We found a dead frog in the condo and it was apparent it had been there for awhile-gross and once again confirmed the place is not being thoroughly cleaned. It isn't inviting and welcoming when you come into a rental that is dirty, dated, and unorganized. The beach area is PACKED. While this is a gated commuity, we expected more of a private beach feel. Not the case. There are so many condos and high rises that all use that same beach access. The rows of rentable chairs and umbrellas were 7 rows deep. We were stuck way in the back and all you could see were umbrellas. Even floating in the water, it was crowded. It was so packed with people that it was not relaxing. People were bumping into us, we were hearing other people's conversations. It just was not relaxing whatsoever. We ended up driving to a public beach 3 different days and it was much less crowded, less hectic, and more enjoyable. That was very disappointing because the last thing I want to do is load up the car with beach toys and chairs, drive to the beach, and get the car all sandy. However, we felt we didn't have a choice because the Sandestin beach was just not pleasant. While the pool itself is very nice, the water was so WARM. Like a hot tub without the jets. I thought perhaps it was heated. I contacted the property manager and was informed it was not being heated and pools in Florida get warm because of the warm temperatures. We've been to Florida 4 of the last 5 summers and the pools at the other property we stayed at was cool and refreshing. We only went to the pool a few times because it wasn't refreshing and each time we overheard other guests talking about how warm it was. PROS: Having the golf cart to ride around in was fun, the kids enjoyed that. The grounds and landscaping in the area were well maintained. No loud crowds in the condo area.

Nice Place

Good location. The property is really showing its age with a lot of wear and tear and the bathrooms especially are very dated. With that said for the money and considering we only had 4 days notice I cant complain. The bedding and towels were all super clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean the house could use a deep clean but I am super fussy . We loved using the golf cart made it easy to get to the beach ( I would not have liked to walk to the beach especially if you have chairs etc it is a lot longer than 5 min) and we also used the buggy to go over to Publix and the tunnel under the main road made that easy. I would suggest that someone checks that the user instructions are put back on the buggy as they are missing, so it was all a guess work and not sure if the power light works so it was hard to know if it was low on battery. It was nice to have a little terrace, peaceful sitting area by the water. We were able to walk to the pool it is in a nice setting. We used the tram to go to Baytown it was very convenient as the stop is at the end of the road. All in all it was a nice weeks stay.

Great location! We love the Sandestin area. Code did not work for door on arrival but was rectified by property manager. Unit could use updating but we would stay here again. Golf cart was in the shop so the owner made arrangements in advance for another one for our use.

Fun For Our Teens!

All of the booking, checking in and out, etc. was super easy. Our teens loved the golf cart and being able to zip around the property. Comfortable beds and cozy condo. Only issue (not the homeowners fault!) was crowding and noise. Just so other renters are aware.
