We arrived at the property and our room was cancelled due expedia card was not on file. We stood in the lobby for 2 1/2 hours with Embassy and expedia going back in forth trying blame each other. It was a disappointing and embarrassing expedience . I requested expedia to compensate me for the night we arrived and they told me no we do not compensate. I am a very valued customer with Expedia and this was poor customer service . I will travel elsewhere where I am valued as a customer.

What I liked: The hotel was very close to the beach. Parking was plentiful and there was a variety of breakfast options. What I didn’t like: We checked in around 9pm and the front desk person admitted they did not see our reservation when they had checked earlier in the day. They asked us if we really needed two beds like our reservation was for. This made me feel like they didn’t have a room ready. Check in was pretty long. The room we got was fine except that it was hot. We didn’t say anything as it was late but mentioned it the next morning when we were checking out. It was a very short stay. They said no one else had complained. The hotel overall was pretty warm.

The daily breakfast was great! The daily cleaning service dropped dramatically after our 2nd night. The coffee bar wasn’t serviced until I called the front desk. The last day we were there they didn’t show up to clean our room until after 4pm. We asked them to give us 10 minutes and we would leave while they cleaned and they said no this was their last room to clean and wouldn’t come back
