Very nice staff, super helpful. Carpets were dirty in the public areas and my room. Stains on walls, paintwork tired. This hotel could be so much better with some basic maintenance. Decent breakfast and lots of parking.

There was no hot water. When I confronted the front desk, they knew the set of suits were like that and that I should ring to ask them to turn a hot tap on downstairs to get the water to flow. This is unnacceptable for the price if the room.

Beautiful hotel in large grounds. Breakfast was ok, dinner was excellent. Good size room and bed. Bathroom was a little dated and bath was very sloped making it hard to get out of the shower as it was slippery, resulting in large bruise on my leg. Good, convenient location so would consider returning with different shower option.

After a very hot day in the city to come back to a clean room with air conditioning was wonderful, it helped towards a good nights sleep, bed comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking fields . Found the staff helpful and friendly.

This was a nice hotel in lovely surroundings that was good for the night, as we were traveling. I would say that the dining options were limited, and drink prices were like central London.

Great little boutique hotel

After reading some other reviews i was nervous about this visit. However, the hotel was more than acceptable. A few bits of wear and tear but no different to any other hotel. It has personality which others lack. Great parking and easy to find. We only stayed overnight so didnt have any food but we saw others having dinner and all seemed good.

Lovely place to stay

We travelling from the North east to visit Bletchley park. We chose this hotel due to the closeness to Bletchley and the reviews on hotels.com. The rooms were very nice, The mini fridge in 1 of our rooms was broken, which no one seemed interested in. Luckily we had 2 rooms booked so were able to keep water cold in the other fridge. Breakfasts were very good but we waited for an hour (after ordering) for our evening meal . 2 meals were served but the 3rd member of our party had to wait another 15 minutes for his meal . We ordered x1 Caesar salad, x1 cornfed chicken with bubble and squeak and tenderstem broccoli ( which wasn't tenderstem) . These came out 1st but the fish and chips took another 15 minutes. The waiter was nice and very apologetic. This was nothing to do with his service. I could not understand how such simple meals took well over an hour to be made. We could have understood if they eere busy but there were only another 2 tables occupied.

Hotel was clean. Room was nice, but there was a wedding event and my room was near the disco. I had to leave for work at 5.30am and the music stopped at 12 midnight. That’s ok but a quiet room would have been more thoughtful. Someone set the fire alarm off at 3.30am so my rest was non existent.
