Upon arrival at 19:45 the host was friendly and re-opened the kitchen to make me dinner, it had closed early - so appreciated this effort. When I left 7:30 there was no sign of anyone making breakfast. Everything was in darkness. I left the key in the deposit box. The room was tiny - not an huge issue - but the bed / mattress was very lumpy. There was a hole in the ceiling packed with papier mache toilet roll. Shower room fine. All in all a cheap room for the night, I wasn’t hugely disappointed but my expectations were aligned.

Shame there was no food available at the pub. The kitchen was closed. Friendly landlord who pointed us to some food eateries in the area. Rooms were basic, but clean.

Adequate, but not special.

Not great, but all I needed was a bed for the night. Staff seemed to come and go as they pleased. Don't think there was anyone there overnight, so the guests (?) were left to their own. No chef either so had to eat elsewhere. Very dark interior and metal cages up at the bar most of the night. Remote didn't work on the TV. Had to keep the bathroom door shut when showering to stop the steam setting off the smoke alarms. Right in the centre of Woburn, with a very tight entrance to the car park, through an archway. Managed to get through it with my Transit Connect - anything bigger wouldn't.
